Hyperpigmentation means discolouration of the skin which manifests as dark marks or patches.
Lots of things. Our treatments focus on some of the most common causes - acne marks, melasma and sun spots.
Melasma is common. It normally presents as larger patches of hyperpigmentation on both sides of the face. Commonly affected areas include the cheeks, forehead and upper lip. It is more common in women and can be triggered by sun exposure, hormonal disturbance (pregnancy, certain types of contraceptive)
It depends on what type you have aka what is causing it. For example, if you have active acne and resulting inflammation is leaving you with dark marks, it will be important to treat the acne as well as treating the dark marks. Our key ingredients for treating hyperpigmentation are tretinoin, hydroquinone, azelaic acid and tranexamic acid.
We know we keep banging on about this but give your formula time at least a couple of months before expecting to see a significant difference. The timing will differ from person to person and is dependent on the type of hyperpigmentation you have and the extent of it. We use the most effective ingredients to give you the best chance of a good improvement but you have to stick with them and you should also use a daily high factor SpF (ideally factor 50)

Your subscription for your topical formula equates to just £6 per week. Our formulas are 30mls to last you two months. We bill £48.50 for each order at the start of the two month period. * Oral medications start at £15 per month (3 month minimum).
